How to survive the storm and dance through the rain

Just like King Solomon said there's a season for everything under the heaven, I myself believe that every single one of us parading the surface of this earth will during their existence not only rejoice but also face battles and trials.
This trials and battles at times leave us feeling literally like crap (especially when spiritually we're still at the stage of drinking milk and not eating solid food). I'ver certainly had my slice of share of the rainy days and know more will come my way. We pass one test get some time off and after that little break another trials comes our way...

By God's grace I've made it through many trials and battles. I'm still standing after the molestation, the sexual abuse, heartbreak, family drama, prostitution, criminal record for stealing and today because of it all I have a story to share. I can relate and know exactly what to say to those going through their rainy days because I've been there and can say out "I've been there and know exactly how it feels like to..."  No matter how brave and strong one can be the reality of it all is that at some point or once upon a time we broke down and felt like giving up or in the worst scenarios others gave up. I've once too many times on various occasions felt like giving up on (you know that feeling of being tired of being tired?). I know that someone out there is in need of reading this and I to tell that in the eyes of God very special someone that what-ever it is you might be going through right now please find that place where you can be alone with the Lord and cry out to the Lord. The one who allowed this situation to come your way knows the strength you have within to also make it through. Don't run away from him but to run him your attitude will determ the outcome and the duration of this season. Down below I've typed out what has helped me make it through those rainy days:

1. Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that he is God I cannot stress out enough on how important it is not to panic (even though this feel like mission impossible) don't run away from him but run to him. I've learnt the hardest way that running away from him only les matters worse. How else are you supposed to be protected if you're running away from the only one who can protect and give you the inner peace, strength and patience you require in order to make it through the storm. Jesus told his desciples to have faith and today I am telling you the same have faith in Christ because God is in control!

2. 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances for this is the of God in Jesus Christ for you: This is by far the go to attitude that one can have during those burdensome moments. Don't stop yourself from seeing beyond what you might be going through. Instead of mourning about the Thousand reasons why your life "sucks" praise God and thank him for all your blessings. Keep in mind that there's always someone out there facing a worse storm. Be gratiful for all that you do have!

3. Hebrews 12:6 For God disciplines those he loves, and punishes each one he accepts as his child: Have you ever heard of the saying we harvest what we sow? Whether that's today, tomorrow or perhaps in ten years I strongly believe that for every action we undertake there's an outcome. Sometimes we go through unpleasant things ebcause of our disobedience but this is the way God chose to show us his love. Our pain triggers and awakens the want of us drawing and finding refuge in him. The pain I went through after my ex-boyfriend abandoned me left me discerning that only he could make it all better.

4. Ephesians 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm: Equipt yourself with the armor of God, equipt yourself with the holy scriptures! Our eyes and ears are the gate to our  hearts and you are the keeper of it. What are you allowing to enter your heart? Spend not only time with God in prayer but also feed your feed your heart with his word this will make you grow and be strong spiritually. Thus everytime the enemy will try and get you down by throwing negative thoughts your way God's word will make it bounce right back at him.

5. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heaert and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight During those stormy days try as little as possible to lean on your own understanding and trying to figure things out on your own. Nine out of the ten times your feelings will get in the way of you thinking straight! Rely and trust God he has your best intrest at heart. Make God your best friend and trust him to lead the way. He told us to come to him will all our burdens.

6.Surround yourself with positive people and those who bring value to your life: Eradicate or try to spend the littlest time possible with those whose mindset is negative. Negativity can weigh you down, distract you and in general invite chaos in your life birthing other feelings such as fear, anger or hatred. Think about it there is so much power in the words we speak or allow to enter into our heart. When feeling low you need to surround yourself with people who will give you a little pat on the shoulder and push in the right direction. Try to spend as much time possible with God-fearing people who will give you advice according to God's word.

7. Eat well, stay active, give one way or another freely to others: Take very good care of yourself don't you dare drink nor eat your blues away it's really not worth it. On the long run this will only affect your health plus you might end up doing some irreversible serious damage to your body. Be or stay active don't stay in but instead kill time doing the things you love. Spread some love by giving one way or another freely to others. This doesn't mean per se that you need to spend money you can also spend time helping others for example by volunteering.

May Jesus the one who made it possible for me to still be here do beyond of what thee did for me.
